Single-sided flexible circuit

A single sided flexible circuit has an etched conductor pattern (usually copper) on one side of dielectric basefilm. A dielecteric covering, such as soldermask or coverlayer is usually applied to protect the conductors and define component placement areas. Stiffeners or backers can also be added to support selective rigid sections.
