PCB Maker Announces Major Facility Improvements

Innovative Circuits, Inc, a leading provider of printed circuit boards for the Military and Commercial markets announce the completion a major upgrade to their Alpharetta manufacturing facility. Today’s technology is demanding smaller and more compact circuit board size making “fineline” technology in the Printed Circuit Board industry mandatory for advanced packaging. The improvements announced today allows ICI to meet the demand for this tighter technology.

The completed upgrade includes the installation of a Hollmuller DES Line (0.5 mil line capability),  a Mania Silverwriter Photoplotter (1200dpi), and a Argos Automated Optical Inspection System (AOI). The installation and operation of this new equipment improves the imaging capability to resolve 3-mil line and space technology. Further improvement was made in the Multilayer Process capability with the installation of a Plasma Etch MK- II Plasma Chamber and a Lauffer Vacuum Press. These facility upgrades enable Innovative Circuits, Inc to deliver top tier circuit boards in quality and performance.

Innovative Circuits, Inc. services a broad spectrum of customers including the computer, military, aerospace, medical, telecommunications, instrumentation, satellite, and avionics industries.  Their primary area of service is in the design and fabrication of “quick turn” prototype and small volume printed circuit boards (PCBs) both rigid and flexible. ICI has experienced an average growth of 33% each year since 2004.

PWB MAKER ANNOUNCES QUALIFICATION TO MIL-PRF-55110F

ALPHARETTA, GA. – Innovative Circuits, Inc announces that the Defense Logistics Agency has granted ICI certification to MIL-PRF-55110 for both epoxy and polyimide Printed Wiring board constructions. ICI is also in the process of building the required samples for MIL-P-50884 and plan to have the certification completed with the next six months.

Innovative Circuits, Inc is a leader and innovator in the design and fabrication of complex Printed Wiring Boards, Flexible and Rigid/Flex circuits for the electronics industry. George Schudy, CEO of ICI, stated that “achieving this qualification approval makes us a more complete shop and fits well with our current IPC-6012 and IPC-6013 approvals”.
